How to wire the circuit breaker's neutral wire?

The circuit breakers used in the family can be divided into five types: 1P circuit breaker, 1P+N circuit breaker, 2P circuit breaker, 1P leakage circuit breaker and 2P leakage circuit breaker.

When wiring, the 1P circuit breaker does not need to distinguish the direction of the neutral wire and the live wire-because it only needs to be connected to the live wire (one terminal for the incoming and outgoing wires)

Except for the 1P circuit breaker, the remaining four circuit breakers have two upper and lower terminals. You need to pay attention to the order of the neutral wire and the live wire when wiring: the upper and lower are a group, and the neutral and live wires are divided into left and right (the left and right of the incoming wire) Consistent with the left and right of the outlet). When faced with multiple 1P+N circuit breakers, 2P circuit breakers, 1P earth leakage circuit breakers and 2P earth leakage circuit breakers, first check the 1P+N circuit breakers and 1P earth leakage circuit breakers. On their terminals, there will be an "N "Identification. Different brands of circuit breakers have different directions for the N logo: it may be on the left or on the right.

When buying a circuit breaker, you should buy the N terminal in the distribution box on the same side. It is not allowed to have both the left N terminal circuit breaker and the right N terminal circuit breaker. When wiring, connect the neutral wire to the N terminal, and connect the unmarked terminal to the live wire.

2P circuit breaker and 2P leakage circuit breaker, theoretically, there is no need to distinguish between the neutral wire and the live wire, and the neutral wire on the left side or the neutral wire on the right side can be connected. However, if you operate according to the specifications, you should refer to the direction of the N terminal of the 1P leakage switch and 1P+N switch in the same distribution box to ensure that the order of the neutral and live wires of the 2P circuit breaker and the 2P leakage circuit breaker is the same as that of the 1P+N and The order of the neutral and live wires of the 1P leakage circuit breaker is the same.

What to do if the circuit breaker's neutral and live wires are connected reversely?

Connecting the neutral wire and the live wire is not a big obstacle to the 2P circuit breaker and the 2P earth leakage circuit breaker. The only effect is that it looks irregular. The neutral wire and the live wire need to be searched again during maintenance, which brings a little inconvenience.

When the 1P+N circuit breaker and 1P earth leakage circuit breaker are disconnected, only the live wire can be disconnected: the wire connected to the terminal without identification. If the neutral wire and the live wire are wrongly connected, when the circuit breaker is opened, the neutral wire is actually disconnected. Although there is no current in the circuit at this time, there is still voltage at that time. If people touch it, they will still get an electric shock.

The neutral line of the 1P circuit breaker is on the zero row, which is not easy to connect wrongly. The consequences of wrong connection of 1P circuit breaker are the same as the consequences of reverse connection of neutral and live wires of 1P+N circuit breaker.
